We are building infrastructure for our farmers and marketing channels for our producers. Our current activities include:

• Seed bank, tree and plant nursery
• Berry, nut and fruit orchards
• Training ox to plow fields
• Irrigation systems
• Permaculture education and development
• Acquiring farming tools and equipment
• Community seed bank and cold storage…

We had a great growing season with lots of rain. Our orchards are expanding and some trees are starting to bear fruit.  The co-op is storing root crops in the root cellar

We will prepare the soil for planting by plowing with ox. We had great success with plowing this year.

Demand for certified organic produce is still strong, so next year, the co-op will encourage farmers to expand production.

The cooperative is seeking people who want to work on an organic farm and distribute produce and value added goods to our community and beyond.
