Manifesting a Vedic Village in Western Canada

The Vedic Eco Village mission covers 70 acres of farmland, forest and hills in a remote mountain valley in Western Canada.  We have begun implementing certain aspects of the overall project starting with infrastructure: water, roads, gardens and living facilities.   We need more people to expand the eco village.

We are laying the foundation for bringing about a gradual global social transformation through training education based on the ancient scientific principles and concepts of Sanatana Dharma.   We are striving for self sufficiency to fulfill the material and spiritual needs of our community and the next generations

New guest facilities will attract workers for infrastructure building & farming. Key plots to develop are the GoShala, gardens, kitchen, Patha Shala (Learning Center), Yoga Shala, Library and Yajna Shala.

Manifesting the vision of a Varnasrama farm community, or Vedic village, as proposed by Srila Prabhupada and our Acharyas, fulfilling the material and spiritual needs of our community and the next generation.

We have built farm and living infrastructure:

  • 1 acre garden
  • Berry, nut and fruit orchards
  • Tree and plant nursery
  • Irrigation systems
  • Seed bank and root cellar for cold storage
  • Renewable energy systems: solar and micro hydro
  • Volunteer campground
